Things I Learned from Movies & TV Shows: Part 1

Student: Miss, since you love movies so much, can you tell us what's your top favorite movie?

Me: Erm....

Student: I mean, the one that had an impact on you?

Me: Let me see....erm...

Student: You don't have one?

 Me: (I'm thinking, dammit!)

Truth is, it's hard to say. I've watched too many. Have you ever had so many choices that you end up not choosing anything? I can name some movies, but I'll end up missing a few that actually matter. So I just....blanked out. But I can tell you some of the things I learned from movies and TV shows. First up: Bridget Jones's Diary/Pride & Prejudice/Sherlock

1. These are the words all women want to hear and these are the kind of men we want to marry.

2. However, there is always a hidden asshole in everyone. Even if he is Prince Charming.

3. Also, glad to know I'm not the only one feeling empty these days:

4. And like Bridget, no matter how much rice I take out of my daily meals...............

5. On the other hand, since Mr Holmes's ego is also mine....

So yes, movies and TV shows actually taught me some things. For example, sometimes things might turn out alright even if you're the most messed up person in the world. And maybe there is such a thing as true love even if it only happens to everyone else but me. Cause even when most of the time when I see this:

I feel like doing this:

whenever I see this:

I go like this:

FIN.

I guess there's a little bit of a romantic in me, huh?
